System Administrator

The System Administrator is a key position which will manage and ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported business software, applications and hardware. The incumbent will be responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems; especially multi-user computers, such as servers.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting network systems and respond to issues and or problems
  • Providing documentation and management reporting
  • Providing tactical and strategic input on overall network planning and related projects
  • Maintaining network and system security
  • Reviewing, analyzing and evaluating business systems and user needs
  • Providing on-call support as needed, at all times
  • Installing new software releases, system upgrades; evaluating and installing patches and resolving software and OS related problems
  • Maintaining data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
  • Providing user support as required.
  • Investigating network and security issues and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Participating in Business Continuation/Disaster Recovery infrastructure planning, building, and testing.
  • Ensuring the integrity and security of enterprise data
  • Managing end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.

UI/UX Designer

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers to create an intuitive user experience and user interface.
  • Create wireframes and complete flows for Mobeewave’s mobile apps and web products
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards and flows
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, icons)
  • Deliver development-ready assets, and monitor that designs are implemented as per specifications
  • Prepare and present low-fidelity drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Prepare and present high-fidelity wireframes to engineering and external clients
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images
  • Integrate external clients’ style and branding guidelines into Mobeewave’s white-label solution

Mobile Android Developer

As a full Mobile Android Developer, you will work in the engineering team to build and improve our mobile Android POS applications and take them to the next level. This means enhancing the software design, improving on the UI and adding exciting new features.

Quality Assurance Engineer is a key role in the whole software development cycle. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, and as a member of the engineering team, you will focus on testing the applications which includes but not limited to the following test perspectives:

  • Automating tests of mobile server-side applications
  • Creating and executing test plans and writing test scripts for all Mobeewave products
  • Maintain and execute regression tests, functional tests, integration tests and performance tests
  • Defect logging and tracking

In this role, the Front-End Developer will have to develop high-quality coding of new features in a multi-region cloud-based system. Working in close collaboration with the operation team, you will have to make architectural decisions, develop new features, provide code review and ensure project deliverables and deadlines. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Develop new functional, scalable and responsive web applications from scratch for both customer-facing and internal products
