Mobeewave Gets Into Gear for Movin’On

Through its partnership with Connect&GO, Mobeewave’s payment acceptance solution will be used during Movin’On – an international summit on sustainable mobility, which takes place in Montreal June 13-15. The three-day symposium, presented by Michelin in association with C2, continues the 20-year tradition established by Michelin Challenge Bibendum as the world’s premiere and longest-running forum for sustainable mobility.

Connect&GO and Mobeewave’s cashless payment acceptance service – which debuted at C2 Montreal last month – will be available for use throughout Movin’On. With no cash or cheques accepted during the event, attendees will be able to pay using their contactless credit cards, mobile wallets or RFID badges.

The event, which will take place at the Montreal’s Arsenal exhibition space, is expected to attract more than 3,000 participants from 35 countries. Featuring a range of dynamic forums – including an exhilarating 360-degree technological platform for plenary sessions and other experiential presentations – Movin’On will also host collaborative workshops, master classes and labs that feature cutting-edge innovation and disruptive technology.

The partnership between Connect&GO and Mobeewave combines RFID technology and mobile contactless payment acceptance to offer an all-in-one cashless solution for live events. Harnessing both companies’ expertise, this solution enables event attendees to make payments by simply tapping an RFID-enabled badge or wristband, a mobile wallet or a contactless credit card to a near field communication (NFC) enabled smartphone.

Movin’On is open to the general public to attend. For pricing information and to register see:
